Each permit type has one or more inspection sequences set up for it. But on any given job, not all inspection types linked to the permit type will be required.
For example, for a tenant build-out, one job might involve plumbing work and therefore require a Plumbing Rough and Final, while another job has only electrical work and therefore require only the electrical inspections.
To indicate for a particular permit which inspections are required, follow these steps:
- From the Hamburger menu, click Permits.
- Use the Filter Icon to find the permit. Click on the Pencil icon on the left-hand side of the permit to open the Permit Details screen.
- NOTE: You can also go to the Job Details and click on the permit for that job, then click the Edit button to get to the Permit Details screen.
- On the Permit Details screen, there is a box with the potential inspections that could be required for a permit of this type. Check the check boxes for the inspections required for this particular permit.
- As the inspections are completed, a “Y” will appear in the “Done?” column. (The list of required inspections will be printed at the top of the permit.)
- NOTE: This assumes your Fire Prevention Mobile (MobileEyes) Administrator has set up the permit template to print the required inspections. If you do not see the required inspections printed on the permit, ask your Fire Prevention Mobile (MobileEyes) Administrator to add this to the permit template.
- When finished indicating required inspections, scroll down and click the Save Permit button at the bottom right-hand corner of the page.
